In these pages, we present a precious necklace, adorned with a handful of pearls plucked from the vast sea of our history, as a token of our devotion to Kannada. To truly appreciate the brilliance of Karnataka's illustrious past and the accomplishments of Kannadigas, we invite every Kannadiga to delve into this treasure chest we've named "Kannada Kadalu." It contains as many pearls of wisdom as one can fathom.

Kannada Nadu is not merely an administrative state within the modern boundaries of Karnataka, stretching from Bidar in the north to Chamarajanagar in the south, and from the western coastline to the eastern limits of Mulabagilu near Kolar. It is a land that has been home to generations of Kannada-speaking people. Its boundaries were etched into existence millennia ago.

Within the pages of this book, we endeavor to offer glimpses of how our ancestors lived and the remarkable achievements they accomplished.
